Greetings Cannabals, What’s the good word?

I’m going to try my hand and building a hydroponics rack.

I’ve seen a couple of instruction videos on youtube and checked some designs on instructables as well, and I’ve decided that a hydroponics rack doesn’t look all that complicated (nor expensive) to build, so I’m going to give it a go.

As a first step, I’ve put a list of parts together, to grab from the Home Depot . When assembled, this build should give me 2 rows of 7 pots for growing. Once I’ve worked the kinks out of the system, I’m going to ramp it up to a 4 tier/28 pot rack.

Tomorrow I’m going to see how many of these things I’ll be able to grab. The interesting one will be the 4’UPVC pipe as it only comes in 10 foot lengths. I’ve got my brother coming out to help… he’s going to bring an electric saw with him and we’re going to cut the pipe in half, as 2 5 foot legths are a lot easier to get into the bus… and down the hall and around a couple of corners in my building.
